Property Week: ‘Hotbed’s £13.5m Grounds for Success’

On 30th July, Hotbed appeared in a prominent Property Week article that reflected very positively on our recently-launched ground rents investment opportunity.

It was the feature article on Doug Morrison’s page in the weekly publication, with accompanying site photos of the Greenwich Millennium Village and St Philip’s Court, Manchester, both of which were purchased by Hotbed’s £15.5m first ground rent fund.

In the article, Andrew Whiteley, who joined Hotbed in January 2010 as Co-Head of Property, comments on the uncertainty surrounding inflation, but points out that “if inflation rises, so do the rents in tandem – in this environment in particular, they’re seen very much as an investment of our times”.
